Journey:

Our first advice is the most important: come to the Oktoberfest only by public transport. For the best:

  • subway line U3 and U6 to Goetheplatz or Poccistraße
  • subway line U4 or U5 to Theresienwiese or Schwanthaler Höhe
  • suburban train: all lines to station Hackerbrücke

The well signposted walk to the Oktoberfest entrance takes only 5-10 minutes.

During the day until 24.00 o’clock the subway drives every 5 minutes, afterwards every 20 minutes. The last subway to the city centre is the line U5 at 1.10 o’clock (monday - thursday and sunday), and at 2.10 o’clock (friday and saturday).
